OPTIONAL ACRO FLIGHT

Vogel airfeld is located at an altitude of 1670 m. The Eastern side of the airfeld and the mountain tops in the surrounding area provide an excellent thermal activity in the morning and all the way until noon. In addition to good paragliding opportunities, the Vogel airfeld others beautiful and unforgettable views of the Triglav mountain, South Bohinj, Karavanke and Kamniško Savinjske Alps. On the days when the thermal vertical airflow appears, we can rise to an altitude of more than 2000m, which gives us a nice view of the Adriatic Sea and the coast.- The flight duration is 20-30 min, depending on the activity

The Vogar aireld is located on the northern side of Bohinj Lake at an altitude of 1050 m. The steep slope and the
open view towards the southern Bohinj open up an almost vertical view of the whole Bohinj Lake.

You will fly over the Bohinj Hills with an experienced flight instructor and no prior knowledge is required.

Tandem Acrobatic paragliding lights are only performed from Vogel airfield, located 1670 m above sea level. Airfield Vogel with its high altitude provides enough height to perform certain acrobatic manoeuvres.

Tandem acrobatic paragliding ight is a combination of paragliding in the vicinity of Vogel with an acrobatic manoeuvre in the last part of the flight, which is performed above the Lake Bohinj. During the acrobatic paragliding ight, the passenger experiences high speeds, a centrifugal power and rapid change of position in space.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) ?

What equipment is needed?
Depending on the season, dress appropriately, in autumn and winter warm clothing (windproof, warm jacket or jacket, long warm trousers, gloves, horseshoe, hiking boots….
In spring and summer: windbreaker, windproof jacket, long trousers recommended, hiking boots or good sports shoes…

Is it safe?
In summer it is safe as we fly in stable weather conditions (little wind, low to moderate thermals).
With you is an experienced licensed, annually checked and trained tandem paraglider pilot.

How is the first flight?
We meet at the landing site from where we drive to the take-off point.
The pilot briefs the passenger on the take-off and landing procedures (light to moderate jogging is required during the take-off phase).
We land at the same place as the meeting point.

What to do in case of bad weather?
In case of bad weather, the flight will be postponed to another more optimal time or to the next date when the weather forecast is suitable.
